       Special Daddy
   Anyone can become a Father but it takes a special 
man to be a “Daddy”
   When I was a child holding to my Daddy's hand, 
I thought he was the biggest man on earth.
   On nights that I would have a bad dream, it was 
his arms that would hold me and his words that 
soothed and comforted me.
   On nights when a bad storm was raging, the thunder 
oh so loud, and the lightning so fierce it was on him 
I depended, I would lay my head upon his shoulder 
and he would put his arm around me and I found 
my refuge from the storm.
   To sit and watch a TV show, to go fishing, to visit 
a friend and yes to even go with Daddy to work, 
it was all so special.
   You see he was taking time out of a busy life for a 
little girl.  A little girl who loved and cherished her daddy
who had a heart filled to overflowing with love for him.  
   The little girl grew up, but the Daddy was still her refuge 
from life's storms, someone to talk to, someone with a 
kind heart, someone she could always depend on.
   So you see anyone can become a Father but it takes 
someone very special to be a Daddy.
   A true Daddy is a treasure worth more than all the 
silver and gold in the whole world.
For money cannot buy the bond between Daddy and Child.
